What Is WD-40 and What Is It Used For?
WD-40 is one of the world’s most popular penetrative lubricants on today’s market. Standing for “Water Displacement, 40th Formula” the famous blue and yellow cans have been in use since the 1950’s. The WD-40 Liquid Lubricant 4L bulk pack is the same formula as the can, which has over 2,000 confirmed uses, including:
Cleans – Removes crayon from walls and removes sticky adhesive residues.
Lubricates – Loosens stubborn zippers and lubricates squeaky stroller wheels.
Displaces Moisture – From drills to helping start wet engines. Safe to use on plastic, rubber, and hard metal surfaces. We would recommend you test on a small inconspicuous area first.
Protects – Keeps metal tools from corrosion and keeps outdoor garden ornaments rust free.
Penetrates – Opens stuck can tops and stuck bolts and loosens screws.
Bulk Pack – Ideal for soaking or dipping
Sometimes you need a product that can tackle those really big jobs, so when an aerosol can isn’t enough, try our bulk Multi-Use Product. It’s the same Multi-Use product that comes in the blue and yellow can, but the sizes (4L, 20L, and 200L) are ideal for soaking and dipping.Got some dirty, rusty tools that need some serious attention? Soak them overnight and let WD-40 remove stubborn grease and grime, while penetrating the bonds between the rust and metal, and making the rust easier to remove later.
Just like our regular aerosol, our bulk Multi-Use Product displaces moisture, protecting from rust and corrosion, and lubricating parts to keep equipment running smoothly.
