How Do I Replace My Proton Key Case?

Replacing the case on your Proton car remote is very simple and can be done by anyone. You only need a small, flathead screwdriver (or similar tool) and 1 minute.

  1. Remove the screw on the rear of your car key
  2. Gently remove the back plate of the key.
  3. Transfer the circuit board and transponder from the old case to the new case.
  4. The blade can be removed from this case and you can insert your existing car key blade if you wish to use that.
  5. Close the case and replace the screw
  6. Test the operation of your new car key!

 

What Is Not Included?

This Auto Openers AOPR-CK03 is a replacement case only. This product will include a key case shell, blank key blade and rubber buttons.
The AOPR-CK03 does not include the car key internals, such as the circuit board. This product is not a functioning car key remote.
