Merlin E840M Garage Door Keypad Compatibility
This Merlin E840M garage door keypad will suit the below garage door and gate motors. Please note, this is only compatible with newer Merlin motors that use Security+ 2.0 encryption, including the new Steel-Line & Merlin motors with “EVO” & “MYQ” in their model numbers. If your motor does not have “EVO” & “MYQ” in the model number, this will not suit.

Merlin E840M Garage Door Keypad Features
The E840M Garage Door Keypad allows you to access your home via a simple pin code. It’s perfect for if you want to go for a jog without carrying keys, or the kids coming home from school without worrying about them losing their keys. The E840M is perfect for holiday rentals, as you can set a temporary PIN code that will expire after a set period of time or after a number of uses. This also makes it perfect if you go on holidays and you want your neighbours to feed the pets.
As a Security+ 2.0 keypad, the E840M Garage Door Keypad is compatible with the newer Merlin and Chamberlain Security+ 2.0 garage door openers using E series remotes, as well as the older garage door openers using orange and purple learn buttons. Programming the keypad yourself is very simple, taking less than 1 minute.
