Returns and warranty
Every order has a 60 day return option, including change of mind.
This door is cut to the size you give us, so it cannot be returned for change of mind. Once your measurements are confirmed and the door goes into production, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please check your opening carefully before ordering, and call us on 1300 456 356 if you are unsure how to measure.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a door arrives damaged, faulty, or not made to the measurements you supplied, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it.
Warranty runs from 12 months and varies by product. Auto Openers motors carry five years, and that warranty covers a DIY installation, which most brands will not do. This product's term is in the specifications below.
Battery safety
This product may contain a button or coin cell battery. Keep new and used batteries away from children. Do not use it if the battery compartment is damaged or will not close. Dispose of used batteries straight away; flat ones can still cause harm. If a battery is swallowed or inserted, act immediately, severe injury can occur within 2 hours. How Do I Replace My Volkswagen Key Blade?
Replacing the buttons on your Volkswagen car remote is very simple and can be done by anyone. You only need a small, flathead screwdriver (or similar tool) and 1 minute.
- Press the button to open the Volkswagen key blade.
- Gently pull the top half (referred to as AOVW-HK01) of the case away from the bottom half. You might find it easier to pull the AOVW-HK01 portion down and away, rather than pulling both pieces horizontally.
- Open both your new and old bottom case, then transfer the battery and circuit board to the new case.
- Seal the bottom case back up, then slot it into the AOVW-HK01 key blade holder.
- Test the operation of the car key! You will need to have your new key blade cut by an automotive locksmith.
What Is Not Included?
This Auto Openers AOVW-CK01 is a replacement case with a blank key blade only. If you require the bottom button portion instead, please see AOVW-CB01. For a complete case, please see AOVW-CK01.
The AOVW-CK01 does not include the car key internals, such as the circuit board or transponder, nor does it include the bottom half of the remote case. This listing is only for the top half of the case, with a blank key blade.
