Returns and warranty
Every order has a 60 day return option, including change of mind.
This door is cut to the size you give us, so it cannot be returned for change of mind. Once your measurements are confirmed and the door goes into production, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please check your opening carefully before ordering, and call us on 1300 456 356 if you are unsure how to measure.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a door arrives damaged, faulty, or not made to the measurements you supplied, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it.
Warranty runs from 12 months and varies by product. Auto Openers motors carry five years, and that warranty covers a DIY installation, which most brands will not do. This product's term is in the specifications below.

This product may contain a button or coin cell battery. Keep new and used batteries away from children. Do not use it if the battery compartment is damaged or will not close. Description
What Is a PA Door?
A PA door is a personal access door. It is the hinged walk-in door on a shed or garage, so you can get in and out without opening the roller door. This one is a steel PA door made in Victoria by Taurean Door Systems, part of Stramit. The leaf is a single skin metal clad door, 0.55mm BlueScope steel over riveted stiffeners, 37mm thick. It suits sheds, garages, workshops, barns and self storage units.
Pre-Hung PA Door Kit or Leaf Only
Pre-hung kit
The complete shed PA door kit. The leaf arrives hung in its own steel jamb with the hinges and lock fitted, ready to fix into your opening. The jamb is 35 x 35 x 1.6mm heavy duty Duragal SHS, galvanised and powder coated in Shale Grey to match the internal steel of most sheds. You get three 100 x 65 x 2mm colour matched hinges, a heavy duty knob entrance lockset, and a chrome cabin hook to hold the door open in the wind. The pre-hung door carries a certified wind rating of N4/C1 in domestic applications, when installed more than 1200mm from the building edge.
Leaf only
The door slab on its own. No jamb, hinges or lock. Choose this if you are replacing a damaged leaf in an existing frame, or you want to supply your own hardware.

Colours and Finish
Choose Zincalume, or any colour from the Colorbond Classic and Contemporary range. If your shed is Zincalume, order Zincalume. If your walls are Colorbond, pick the same colour as your cladding. Select “To Be Confirmed” if you are not sure. We call to confirm every order before it goes to the factory.

Installing a PA Door in a Shed
The pre-hung kit is fixed through its jamb to the door framing in your shed wall. Frame the opening to suit the jamb size above, stand the unit in the opening, check it is plumb, then fix it off. Flashings to trim the door into your wall cladding are not included. A leaf only door needs a jamb, three hinges and a lock before it can be fitted. Not sure how to frame the opening? Because each door is made to the size and colour you choose, it cannot be returned for change of mind once production starts. PA Door Questions
What does PA door stand for?
Personal access door. It is the trade term for the walk-in door on a shed, as opposed to the roller door.
What is the standard PA door size?
2040mm high x 820mm wide is the most common. 920mm is the wider option. Both are 37mm thick.
Can I add a PA door to an existing shed?
Yes. You cut the cladding and frame an opening to suit the jamb size, then fix the pre-hung kit in. It does not have to go in when the shed is built.
Does the pre-hung door come with a lock?
Yes. A heavy duty knob entrance lockset and three hinges are fitted at the factory. The leaf only door has no lock.
Which way does the door swing?
Outward is standard and the door opens a full 180 degrees. Call us before ordering if you need it to swing inward.
