How Do I Replace My Mercedes Benz Key Buttons?

Replacing the buttons on your Mercedes Benz car remote is very simple and can be done by anyone. You only need a small, flathead screwdriver (or similar tool) and 1 minute.

  1. Press the button to open the flip blade. Then, insert a screw driver into the seam to lever open the case.
    Be aware of the spring for the key blade, as this might spring out.
  2. Insert the circuit board and transponder into the new car key.
  3. Get your new, included key cut at a local locksmith. Or, if your existing key blade is in good working condition, you may insert that instead.
  4. Close the case of the new car key, then test the operation of your new car key!

What Is Not Included?

This Auto Openers AOME-CK06 is a replacement case only.
The AOME-CK06 does not include the car key internals, such as the circuit board or transponder. This listing is is not a functioning car key remote.
