How Do I Replace My Mazda Smart Key Card?

Replacing the buttons on your Mazda car remote is very simple and can be done by anyone. You only need a small, flathead screwdriver (or similar tool) and 1 minute. Please note, you may require a small dab of super glue / similar adhesive to help seal the case closed.

  1. Slide out and remove the key.
  2. You may need to run a screwdriver around the outside seam to remove any glue holding the case together.
  3. Remove the circuit board, transponder and battery and replace into the new case.
  4. Click the new case together and if required, apply adhesive to seal the case closed.
  5. Check the operation of your new car key!

What Is Not Included?

This Auto Openers AOMA-CK06 is a replacement case with a blank blade only.
The AOMA-CK06 does not include the car key internals, such as the circuit board or transponder. This listing is only for a case, with an uncut / blank key blade.
