How Do I Replace My Jeep Key Case?

Replacing the buttons on your Jeep, Chrysler or Dodge car remote is very simple and can be done by anyone. You only need a small Phillips head screwdriver (or similar tool) and 1 minute.

  1. On the front of your remote, slide the button and pull out the key blade.
  2. Once the keyblade is removed, you can see the key blade slot on the left and a small tab on the right hand side of the key case. Press the keyblade into the small tab and hinge the key case open.
  3. Remove the rubber case over your circuit board.
  4. Transfer the circuit board and transponder into the new key case.
  5. Replace the rubber cover and click the case back together.
  6. Test the operation of your new car key!

 

What Is Not Included?

This Auto Openers AOCH-CK09 is a replacement case, blade and buttons only. This product will include a key case shell with a blank blade and buttons.
The AOCH-CK09 does not include the car key internals, such as the circuit board or transponder. This product is not a functioning car key remote.
