B&D Universal Slide Clips
The B&D Universal Slide Clip is a vital safety component used on wind-rated B&D roller doors, especially in cyclone-prone regions across Australia. Made from hardened nylon, these clips are designed to be strong, impact-resistant, and lightweight — ensuring reliable performance without adding unnecessary load to the door curtain.
Fitted along the outer edges of the roller door curtain slats, the slide clips engage with B&D’s deep-profile High Wind (wind-lock) side guides. During high wind events, this system prevents the curtain from blowing out of the guides under extreme positive or negative wind pressures, protecting your door and property from damage.
These slide clips are part of B&D’s certified cyclone-rated system, compliant with the National Construction Code (NCC) and AS/NZS wind region standards (Regions C and D). Each clip is easy to install and replace as part of routine door maintenance or when upgrading an existing door to wind-rated specification.
