How Do I Replace My Nissan Key Case?

Replacing the buttons on your Nissan car remote is very simple and can be done by anyone. You only need a small, flathead screwdriver (or similar tool) and 1 minute.

  1. Firmly grasp the key blade in one hand and the key case in the other hand, with the side of the case pointed up like a coin on it’s side.
  2. Flex the car key along the seam to open the car key. Do flex this along the face of the key, only flex along the side.
  3. There are two small tabs on either side of the car key case you can pull open with a flathead screwdriver.
  4. Remove the circuit board, battery and transponder and insert into the new car car key.
  5. Click together the case, then insert the key holder portion onto the car key case.
  6. Test the operation of your new car key!

 

What Is Not Included?

This Auto Openers AONI-CK03 is a replacement case only. This product will include a key case shell and a blank, uncut key blade.
The AONI-CK03 does not include the car key internals, such as the circuit board. This product is not a functioning car key remote.
